Every Protest the Pope event has so far exceed capacity. Following the overflow crowd at the Conway Hall debate, the LSE debate also was an overwhelming success.
Every Protest the Pope event has so far exceed capacity. Following the overflow crowd at the Conway Hall debate, the LSE debate also was an overwhelming success. To quote the Catholic Herald "last night I squeezed into a packed lecture theatre at the London School of Economics to hear Geoffrey Robertson QC present “The Case of the Pope: Vatican Accountability for Human Rights Abuses”.
While the Vatican PR machine is in overdrive trying to damp down the demonstrations and claim they have little support, the truth is very different. The demonstrations promise to be of a scale not seen since the heady days of the Vietnam War, CND and the Queen Fredericka State visit.
The British public is set to deliver a clear message to the Pope. Those who protect and encourage child rapists are not welcome here and never will be.
SO MUCH FOR THEIR CLAIMS THAT THE DEMONSTRATIONS WILL ONLY DRAW 2,000. In their dreams!
