Job Seekers Only Part 3

‘Workless’, it is not just because this issue effects a lot of peoples lives and that my ‘CV as a motivational job adviser’ is being sort in a dead or alive style. No! One doesn’t require a CV for doing something worthwhile. All you need is jobseeker experience, self responsibility et al.
Keith Perkins warns “The welfare system is being restructured to suit not those in need but to suit crony capitalism, be it those who require cheap unskilled low paid workers for their McShit jobs or those who run the scam training courses and back to work scams, and are currently bidding to take over the running of Job Centers and the entire welfare system. They will bid for a contract, to maximize profits, they will seek to force people off benefits, the less they pay out, the greater the net profit”. Continuing he says “Many claimants are finding their benefits are being stopped on entirely bogus grounds. The intention being to force them off benefits. If they appeal, they usually win and get their benefits reinstated, but at what cost in terms of stress and peace of mind?” All this is because he says “The Coalition Government is looking to make minimum 25% cuts within DWP. The obvious programmes to cut are Flexible New Deal and New Deal”.
Keith Perkins’ revelation that “Many claimants are finding their benefits are seemingly being stopped on a whim, possibly harassment, certainly the bottom of the barrel is being scraped to find pathetic excuses to stop benefits.” Claiming that “The front line staff themselves are ignorant of the rules, and make contradictory statements to claimants.” And “some people seem to be targeted.” He continues “In addition to stopping benefits and other threats, claimants are being pushed onto scam training courses where the only beneficiaries are those running the courses. Claimants cannot refuse, as the courses are mandatory and if you refuse, that in it will be used as an excuse to stop benefits”.
I agree with Perkins about “Flexible New Deal (Stage 4) appearing to be little better but the compulsory work element, that is you have to go and work for an employer for nothing, is enforced slave labour which is a breach of International Labour Treaties.” And will not be allowed in the UK.
Our concern is while welfare freeloaders and ‘money laundering’ types cheer ‘The Coalition Government’ the disillusioned genuine workless (jobseeker) might end up joining the ‘welfare freeloaders and money laundering types’ who did nothing for their family’s future survival.
But this is something no genuine UK jobseeker which obviusly includes the single mum and survivor does.
