Attached is a recording of Mike Granville, Secretary of the Sheffield Humanist Society  http://www.sheffield.humanist.org.uk/ , speaking at a meeting held on 1st September 2010 titled, The state the Pope's in: How does the Vatican keep getting away with it?

In this talk Mike Granville, an ex-catholic, highlights some key events in the history of the Catholic Church from the 2nd World War onwards and also talks about his personal experience of the church.

The meeting was advertised with the following text:

The Vatican has a long history of abuse of its people and of its power. It covers up its own moral crimes. And yet Popes have been welcomed and treated as celebrities.

Is it time to say - ENOUGH?
