The Other Crisis

Action Against Hunger | 02.09.2010 10:30

With the Millennium Development Goals Review Summit fast approaching on 20 - 22 September 2010, Action Against Hunger | ACF International is calling on world leaders to make child hunger a priority.

Trillions were spent to salvage the global economy when recession hit, but the crisis of global hunger was overlooked. Now over a billion people are hungry and life-threatening acute malnutrition—a predictable, preventable, treatable condition—kills up to five million children a year.

We managed to rescue the banks, but not the millions pushed into hunger because of the global recession. Where is their bailout?

As global leaders convene for the summit please join us in demanding that child hunger gets the attention it deserves. Check out the campaign website, sign up, and then forward onto your friends:

There were millions starving before the 'recession' started culling the middle classes, and, here, those Labour voters with NGO / public non-jobs / political appointments ( see what happens each time a government changes they put in their own people. Thatched did it, Blair did it. etc etc. ) servicing the global war-money industry. A lot of NGo.'s just keep giving us the liberal propaganda and help keep this ( their ) corrupt system afloat. There was food in Niger in the markets before the recession as well as starving people who could not afford this. It is a global class war and fat NGO mutherfuckers are part of the problem. These are the same bastards that try and turn the global south and give them mobile into a market economy with their fucked up charity - steal land and give people computers destined for 'our' ,now their, landfills etc etc.
