Flying in the face of claims by the EDL leadership that the EDL are peacefully protesting only against militant Islam, here is some footage taken during the demonstration which shows crowds chanting "Allah is a paedo", giving Nazi salutes, flying a flag with Far right Geert Wilders name on it and attempting to start a riot through police lines.

The EDL forums have been claiming in the last few days whilst they conduct their post mortem that the smoke grenade was thrown by the UAF at them, provoking the trouble (which would be quite a throw since they were absolutely nowhere near). If you look carefully at this footage, you can clearly see the smoke grenade being ignited within the EDL pen just before the trouble starts. Notice the local reaction: whatever!
