Dont muddy the waters

Fremantle Road
sadly, I was there at the Fremantle Road incident as I passerby, not one of the unwashed, spotty teenagers vying for the Police Officers blood. These free loaders of such tender years, spouting off Act and Section to the very people that seek to protect our rights, as though its a meal token or get out of jail free voucher handed out at the dole office!
The other side of course, are the older more 'wiser' members of the public who feel that they should get involved as its their duty, probably missing the 'good ol days' when they were young enough to have a miss-guided opinion based upon hearsay and rumour, and all of this had to be crammed into one lunch time, as they would be missed from their desk in the local building society or primary school.
Unfortunately, it would seem that the point here is being missed. A handful of people enter into another persons property, un-invited, then seek too change locks to keep the owner and their agents out. The property has probably been paid for and looked after by the owner and their family for generations. At no time has any of the un-invited guests contributed to the upkeep, at no time have they entered into an agreement where they pay rent or a mortgage. They have broken into the house and taken it as their own, this is the outrageous thing that several of your other commentators seem to believe is ok and right!!!
Sec. 6 has been spoken of time and time again, but at no time as Sec. 9 of the Theft Act 1968 been mention....a person enters a building or part of a building as a trespasser with the intent to steal, commit GBH or commit criminal damage. When this band of sponging children entered into this apparently insecure building, the first thing they wanted to do was change the locks and throw carpets out of the house, very nice.
It would seem that people are trying to hold onto the idea that we live in an oppressive police state, where the subordinate libertarians are crushed and suffocated in normal society, when, in fact, we live in what is predominately a good, free country, where our welfare is paramount to the 'oppressors' that police our streets.
Should any of the freedom fighters I witnessed at Fremantle Road, cut their finger as they wagged it at the police, or god forbid, get any of the contents of the fire extinguisher discharged at the police, in their eyes, i am guessing the first place they would go is the hospital and demand to see a doctor, the very doctor that the police , as tax payers, are paying for!
My final words are 'get a job, rent your own flat, buy your own house and grow up'. If you think we live in an oppressed state, have a word with someone from Somalia, or other South African countries, where if you tried this shit their, you'd be shot and left for the vultures.
