Demonstration Against pro Israeli "Death On The Med" BBC programme 22nd August 2010.
Panorama aired "Death On The Med" a documentary about the Israeli attacks on the Freedom Flotilla in May 2010 - Israel's version. The BBC once again aired and spread propaganda on Israel's behalf.



Enough is enough, we all know the truth of the terrorist attacks committed by Israel on unarmed peace activists! The BBC needs to know that it cannot continue airing lies as the truth.

You shouldn't have been on those boats in the first place. They were humanitarian people trying to get aid to those poor people in Gaza.

What Israel is doing to those people is appalling. How is the collective punishment of the people of Gaza any different to the collective punishment of the Jews by the Nazi's?

Killing unarmed humanitarians. Its disgusting.

I agree. It was also proved that the Israeli "commandos" worked for the CIA. We're in some very deep and dark waters. I think there may have been Mossad / CIA controlled provocateurs on the boat, as well.

For the record, as of 17.15 pm on Wednesday 18th August 2010, this posting was hidden on the Indymedia UK newswire.

I reposted it onto the newswire at 17.17pm, with a intro sentence asking why it had been removed.

Miraculously, by 17.26pm, the original posting (this one) was restored to the newswire.

Would any IMC moderator like to explain what happened here? Will the person to did hide this article be asked to explain their actions?

Why all the anti-Israel hysteria? There are many countries out there with much worse human rights records so why do you never protest against them? Why are you people so obbsessed with campaigning and protesting against Israel, could have anything to do with the fact that Israel is a Jewish state? If not then why are there never any protests against none Jewish states?

Anti-racists oppose Israel because it defines itself this way; it is this Zionist ideology, underpinning the state; that drives Israel's attempts to solve Israel's "demographic problem". Zionists recognise the non-Jewish population in Israel as a potential threat to Israel's racial inequalities. The occupation of the West Bank and the Siege of Gaza are examples of Israel's underling policy which is to maintain Israel's racist constitution.
It's not true that we don't criticise other states but what is crucial is to attack the support that Israel receives from the British ruling class. The point should not be to reform the ruling class but to create a free and equal society.
Jews have played and do play a strong role within the progressive movement but the growth of the Jewish Right has been linked to an expansion of their means of propaganda:
