Cheap as Minibus and Veggie-oil coaches going to Edinburgh Climate Camp/Fring

Southcoast Climate Camp has committed to hiring the Big Lemon Bus to travel to Climate Camp 2010 in Edinburgh. Unfortunately many people can't make this trip and we have 18 seats that need to filled.




We are offering a £60 return travel to the festival on an Eco-Friendly Bus, with great company and Flapjack to share!

The bus leaves Brighton at 8pm on Friday the 20th to Arrive in Edinburgh on Saturday morning. The Bus service leaves Edinburgh at 2pm on Tuesday the 24th to return to Brighton by Midnight. Providing over 3 Days of experience of The Edinburgh Festival (as well as some inspiring direct action against the Royal Bank of Scotland global headquarters - see www.climatecamp.org.uk)
It will also be possible to Camp with us at Climate Camp 2010 for free over these days, so the entire travel and accommodation of the trip could be afforded on £60!

understand you're in a spot of bother, but Indymedia ain't really the place to advertise travel to the Edinburgh Fringe!

And somewhat suspect to push 'free accomodation' at the climate camp! Actually, it costs in, to sort marquees etc. The rates have just been sent out. So are you paying for them too?!

The best fuel to use is filtered chip fat. The total greenhouse emissions of veg oil from fossil fertilised rape seed are higher than those of diesel / petrol. This is driven by nitrous oxide emissions from bacteria enjoying nitrogen fertiliser made from fossil oil.
It's great that transport is available to climate camp. We won't save the planet by changing our life styles alone; we also need to change the relations of production.

if you take a quick look at the Big Lemon Bus website, that's exactly what they do.

I'll just log off and change the relations of production then.
