on the 03 august 2010- superintendent ghulam akbar from azad kashmir was on a short visit to bradford uk as a distinguished guest at the bradford police head quarters.
during his visit at the police head quarters he was welcomed by the superintendent steve cotter,inspector jonathan pickles and pc sohail akhtar of west yorkshire police.
later superintendent ghulam akbar joined pc anser javaid west yorkshire police,dc bashir ahmed serious crime division manchester police ,pc sohail akhtar west yorkshire police,ch nazakat hussain local community representative and mr latif the owner of anam's restaurant bradford for a meal.
superintendent ghulam akbar was presented with a traditional uk police whistle and a certificate marking his visit to the west yorkshire police.
