English Defence League links to UK Independence Party [UKIP].

The English Defence League are a violent, Islamophobic organisation with links to the BNP, National Front, Combat 18, Blood and Honour and...the UK Independence Party [UKIP]. Alan Lake a UKIP candidate is said to "fund" the English Defence League. He speaks at EDL rallies. Leading members of the EDL ie Trevor Kelway, Joel Titus [EDY English Defence League Youth], Guramit Singh and Darren Marsh/Lee all vote UKIP.

There is a definite link between the English Defence League and UKIP. Pictured here is Darren Marsh/Lee of the English Defence League with a UKIP sticker on his face.

This weekend the English Defence League rioted in Dudley. They are said to have smashed up a Hindu Temple [despite their links to the Hindu Defence League], been involved in a car crash, occupied residential flats of terrified tenants, thrown railings at the police, violently attacked local Muslims, fought with each other, smashed car windows, smashed shops and held the small town under siege. The shops in Dudley were all closed for the day because of the football hooligans rampage. The Zoo was closed for the day and had to be protected by extra security. The EDL have placed severed animals heads on the walls of the Dudley Central Mosque.

The EDL originally marched on Dudley because they believed that there were plans to build a "Supermosque" and that Dudley would become "Islam Village". Plans for a large Mosque have not materialised however and the Guardian Newspaper published an article describing how the EDL were wasting their time. Yet still the EDL go to Dudley and have attacked the small town's Mosque. Many of Dudley's Muslims are Sufi. The community in Dudley have counter protested against the EDL and the EDL have used this as a "reason to go back". They have said that they "will bankcrupt Dudley. The question is..are UKIP involved in what is happening in Dudley in any way? Why Dudley people keep asking. There are no plans to build a "Supermosque" so why do the EDL keep going there?

Have you asked them?

Article has a lot of questions... probably not the best site to post them on.
I'd contact the EDL directly instead.

Makes sense

A UKIP/EDL axis makes far more sense than the BNP/EDL/Nazi connection people are endlessly spouting shite about.

UKIP and the EDL are both 'multi-racial' in theory, ie not exclusively non-white BNP style. They support British wars abroad, are Zionist and specifically hate islam, unlike the BNP, which is still too tied up with its own anti-Semitism to quite espouse this position...

Yes we have asked them.

They are connected to UKIP, that much is true. This destroys credibility that UKIP might have with most of their voters. [We don't think they have credibility but their voters did].

You are correct. I think that the links between the EDL and the UKIP need to come out. This will take away all sorts of things from the EDL scenario. The EDL has been hyped and they need to be unhyped.
