Shift Magazine is looking for articles for issue #10. This issue will focus on the theme of borders and Europe. As the environmental and economic crises deepen, we witness a turn towards forms of nationalism and exclusionism both old and new. Whilst the COP-15 process discusses climate refugees, Fortress Europe continues building up its walls and extending its control systems beyond its own borders. We are looking for articles seeking to critically engage with aspects of these processes and ways in which resistance is being expressed. Please send an abstract of no more than 150 words to  shiftmagazine@hotmail.co.uk by Monday 26th July, samples of past work that show us something about your interests and writing style would also be appreciated. Final articles will be expected by the end of August. Please note, we can't guarantee that all submitted articles will be accepted.
