Large numbers of LGBT-friendly people in London, including a significant number of family, friends and supporters, from all walks of life take part in the gay parade in 2010.

London Pride was on 3 July 2010 and was attended by about one million people , making it the largest outdoor event in the UK. This year's Pride parade started from Baker Street at 1pm, heading along Oxford Street, down Regent Street and ending in Trafalgar Square. This year's theme was 'Paint The Town Ruby Red' and is in celebration of 40 years of the Gay Liberation Front. The parade ended with a gathering in Trafalgar Square, with speakers and entertainers from 3pm. A small band of anti-gay Christian protestors held placards with Bible passages, while one man with a loudspeaker warned marchers of their "sin".
