In the first place 1885 is not the last restaurant in West Yorkshire that selling foi gras, there are at leat 12 others that we know of and secondly we would appreciate if you would trying to claim that your new group has stopped some restaurants selling foi gras. There has been a very long runninig anto foi gras campaign running across Yorkshire for some time before your little group turned up and tried to grab all the glory - some recognition of what's been done so far and by whom would be nice.

Thank you

I see how it works now

I see that the benefits for West Yorks Animal Rights having friends among the imc collective includes the hiding of our posts when we point out that they are late joiners to the cause of removing foi gras in Yorkshire. this must be what was meant when I heard other animal lovers talking about the 'shac mafia' that stops publicity on imc for alternative animal groups.

Pity that for some AR is about personalities and money making while for others it's about the animals. I'm glad I am on this side of the movement.

Don't worry we wont inconvenience you again with our posts, we've got animals to save while you play at politics.

Good ridance to you.

Don't you know that Luke Steele considers Yorkshire his little empire now ? How very impertinent of you to point out that others have done more than his vanity project, shame on you :-)

Be warned

29.06.2010 11:38

For your own safety and that of your family be very wary of getting involved in the various dregs of SHAC that are trying to start new little groups around the UK. As SHACWATCH has shown time and time again involvement with them quickly leads to prison and empty bank accounts

(or much much worse having to spend time with Lynn Sawyer )

West Yorkshire Animal Rights Group

The so called West Yorkshire Animal Rights Group is nothing more than what's left of SHAC in the region desperate to try and get some donations coming in. Real AR people in the region have been smart enough to have had nothing to do with them.

There is a thriving and growing grass routes AR movement in Yorkshire and the wider parts of Northern England that I'm glad to say has nothing to do with SHAC or its band of Far Right nutters.

I have to say this may be the funniest comment for some time posted to what is an increasingly dire Indymedia.

I hear that the number of unique visitors is at an all time low now on the site, what's being done to change that ? (HINT = getting rid of the SHAC / ALF animal rights one cause vegan loonies, the 911 nutcases and Jew haters would be a good start.)

Time spent with Lynn Sawyer

29.06.2010 12:56

There are worse things than spending time with Lynn Sawyer, spending time with Babs and Charity in Parliment Sq springs to mind !

I'm not sure though what's worse in the long run political screaming harpies or animal rights screaming harpies !
