Sykes House Farm End Foie Gras Supply

West Yorkshire Animal Rights Group (WYARG) | 24.06.2010 15:38 | Animal Liberation

FIVE DOWN, TWO TO GO!

Sykes House Farm near Wetherby are the only company we are aware of who sold foie gras to establishments in the area. After two days of them being our main focus, we today received the following statement:

“To whom it may concern
With reference to numerous emails we have received and the post on your website we can confirm that we will be contacting all of our current customers who buy foie gras from us to inform them that we will be ceasing to purchase it and can therefore no longer supply it. We will need to give our clients one weeks notice from today.

Kind regards
Rachael Hirst
Director”

We thank Sykes House for listening to public concern on the matter and ask that all contact in complaint regarding foie gras ends with immediate effect.

To see the remaining foie gras restaurants, please visit our Get Cruelty Off the Menu campaign >>>  http://www.crueltyoffthemenu.wordpress.com

===================================================

Please note that the Kaye Arms have now been bought out by new owners and foie gras is no longer on any of the menus. As a result, we call upon any contact in complaint to end.

However, it must be stated that if foie gras is placed back on the menu’s protests will begin with immediate effect.
