IDF errorists

If you thinking I'm missing my T, you'd be wrong although I did splutter coffee all over my monitor it when I learnt that Ken O'Keefe, an activist known for US Passport burning, being an Iraq War Human Shield and being behind P10K, (which didn't ever get off the ground), is number 2 on the IDF's new list of Specific Flotilla Passangers(sic) Linked to Al-Qaeda, Hamas and Other Terror Organizations.

The list appeared on the IDF website this evening, presumably as a replacement for the previous release, where the title was altered from "Attackers of the IDF soldiers found to be Al Qaeda mercenaries." to "Attackers of the IDF Soldiers Found Without Identification Papers", watering down the claim. The release provided no evidence to support the claim.

Now, knowing full well that their every move is being scrutinised all over the web, they further undermine their credibility, by incorporating the likes of O'Keefe, a US/British citizen who I understand currently lives in Ireland, in such a prominent place on their list.

And they have been caught out doctoring audio that they released, so that it includes comments about 'Auschwitz' and 'helping Arabs'. The organisers of the Flotilla strongly deny that these comments were made, and invite the IDF to return the footage, photos and audio that they stole, after kidnapping the boats and arresting all the crew. The majority of the activists kidnapped from the boats were deported without their possessions, data or money.

Indeed, the Israelis were able to gain domination of the news agenda by detaining the activists (including 60 jounalists), denying them access to lawyers, and taking their data, to use themselves. The accounts put out by them during this period were heavily reported, and only began to be discounted as activists were released and began to give Eyewitness accounts.

The IDF spokesperson has already had to issue an apology for its errorism in sending out a copy of 'Con the World', a (erm) 'satirical' video of a song attritubuted to the activists on the boats.
