Yes it does, it called direct action, 1 boat 10 boats 100 boats, the more they stop the more will come, somethings got to give and mark my words it will be the state of isreal.
End the seige!
As for your moaning, get of your ass and do something more then being a keyboard warrior.
There are no shortages of Murdered activistis to name ships after, in fact there could soon be a whole fleet sailing to the coast of Gaza to break the blockade. Not to mention the natural gas off the Gazan coast which is Israel is in the process of stealing .
"From what I see, the Israeli government will now just spin this as: 'See? If the other ship had just done as it was told, no one would have died'. "
It has actually done the opposite and created a great deal of problems for them. They stormed the last boat in the middle of the night with guns and shot people, now they have to explain why they couldn't have boarded the Mari Marmava without murdering umpteen people.

Whilst this action helps keep people focused on Israel, it won't do anything to end the blockade.

Funny that the crossing at Rafah is now open, and Israel is considering allowing more goods into Gaza.
