UKBA D-Locked

Fuck the Deportation Machine | 03.06.2010 12:03 | Migration

The UK Border Agency offices in Derby were d-locked last night. And a written message was left.

This action was carried out in solidarity with the European wide week of actions against the deportation machine,

We believe that acts of resistance -both large and small- against those who profit from and those who facilitate the deportation machine should be carried out whenever and wherever possible.

Nice one

Keep up the good work - small spanners in the works can fuck things up nicely. If we all did things like that, it wouldn't be possible to run this disgraceful deportation programme.

Any chance of posting up what the note said?

what should we do about the serco vans?

I agree - small but frequent actions can mess up the deportation machine's evil work. It seems to me that London is crawling with Serco vans, one of them drove past me today. I know that Serco runs Yarls Wood detention centre and these vans look like they are used to transport prisoners (they have little back windows) Anyone else seen them too? Everytime I see one I feel like I want to do something - but it's always daytime, with lots of people around so smashing windows is not an option! Any other ideas?
