The idea that the US state is controlled/obeys Israel is simply a modern take on the 'Jewish cabal secretly controls world powers' myth. The US and Israeli states share some strategic interests and in supporting Israel the US state acts in its own horrific interest.

Does the poster really think that one of the two most powerful states in the world has to 'obey' anyone?

I point this out as someone who thinks that obviously Israel is a murderous state (like all states) and the attack on the flotilla was deplorable. I have been involved in arranging medical supplies to Gaza, attended demos this week and have a close friend on the flotilla. From this position I find this casual nod to the myths of anti-Semitism sickening and embarrassing.

No War between Nations, No Peace between Classes.
