Football fans unite to save club

Anyone watching sky sports news etc today will have seen over 1000 Crystal Palace fans demonstrating outside their home ground in a desperate attempt to persuade Lloyds bank to sell the ground to CPFC2010 and save the club .
If no deal is reached tomorrow by 3pm the club goes into liquidation after 105 years.
After todays show of strength fans are now meeting at Lloyds HQ tomorrow in an attempt to pressure Lloyds into agreeing a deal.

The Eagles killed by RBS

It seems 'The Eagles' could survive if RBS would sell the ground to the consortium that wants it. RBS would rather keep the land for property development, which in turn sticks up rents in this working class part of south London.

I'm gutted. I've supported Palace since I was 6-years old.

If RBS don't sell they may find business very hard to do in south London.

How do people expect me to make my millions with a bunch of benefit seekers outside?
