26.05.2010 15:07

they have good relationship with the pigs
have respect for the monarchy
have respect for murdering soldiers.....

Great show folks, you make the movement proud.. I don't think..

Anarchist

outrageous

26.05.2010 15:52

outrageous behaviour by a government which is claiming to making us freer to protest, and also by the campers, where was the help for brian when he was being carted off?....seems to me that democracy is about solidarity if its about anything at all....

solidarity runs two ways

26.05.2010 16:56

that Brian and Babs were arrested over this

but equally it is madness to expect support from people you have been publicly calling police spies, dossers, crackheads, benefit scroungers and so on

solidarity runs two ways

Brian Haw has been attacking protesters...

26.05.2010 17:14

He and his cabal who think that they own Parliament Square accused Maria, a dedicated peace campaigner, of being undercover police. He and his chums called everyone else at the camp parasites and cops. Brian Haw started hitting people with his crutches and tried to get them to leave "his" square. He's been a complete cunt. He doesn't own Parliament Square...it belongs to us all. Brian should go home, he's become a wanker.

For the record Maria is not a fucking cop.

so you only act in solidarity with people who are nice to you?

so if someone says silly or even horrible things about you then that makes it ok to stand by and do nothing while they are arrested?

you have no idea how twisted and nasty that makes you, do you.

here was an opportunity to build bridges, be the adults, rise above the sectarianism and focus on what matters - protecting civilians from the forces of the state, whether that is soldiers killing on behalf of the state or police officers arresting and assaulting on behalf of the same state.

you should be ashamed.

This whole this is embarrassing

27.05.2010 08:31

I do despair with this whole Democracy Village thing (and the Election Meltdown that it sprung from) and this is just another aspect of it all. The whole thing is frankly totally politically dubious and tragic. A small bunch of hippies/nutters have managed to be more undemocratic and less representative of me than parliament!

To be totally honest (and speaking as an active anarchist for 20 years) I just want the police the clear them all away, it's an embarrasment that this is what some people thing is radical politics.

No sympathy either way for any of you lot camping there.

And no, I'm not a troll, just a despairing activist/anarcho.

"(and speaking as an active anarchist for 20 years) I just want the police the clear them all away"

Same as any old tory fuckwit innit..... Any other protests you think the nice police should clear up while they're at it?

'My way or the highway' - a new anarchist slogan?

oxymoron

no surprises...

27.05.2010 21:38

you think solidarity might be dead in this country - try being a football fan getting kicked out of a ground for doing nothing...notice how many of your fellow fans help you out...then you will truly know that solidarity is dead and the era of self-obsession/preservation is upon us.

solidarity

Hmm. "then you will truly know that solidarity is dead and the era of self-obsession/preservation is upon us. "

Has been upon us since Thatcher............ the children of Thatchers era are expressing their right to do what they like, and that includes not doing a damn thing if its gonna spoil their protest jolly
