Things to do in the Week of Action Against the Deportation Machine

The European Week of Action Against the Deportation Machine (1st-6th June), called by Stop Deportation (see callout at  http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2010/04/449165.html), is just a week away. Here are a few things to do during the week. The list only includes activities in London and the South East of England. Other regions and countries may be organising their own activities.

Tuesday, 1st June – Pickets at immigration reporting centres.

Wednesday, 2nd June - An open discussion: 'Challenging deportations: Past, Present and Future', organised by No Borders London. 7pm @ LARC. For more details, see  http://london.noborders.org.uk/node/336.

Thursday, 3rd June – Actions against private contractors. Watch out for details. Get in touch if you're interested.

Friday, 4th June – Online campaign against deportation airlines, organised by the National Coalition of Anti-Deportation Campaigns (NCADC). More details soon.

Saturday, 5th June – Mass demo against deportations in Parliament Square, London, called by Stop Deportation. 2-4pm.
