There were stalls from a wide array of green/lefty groups including (but by no means limited to) Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth, the Sparrows' Nest, Veggies, Revolutionary Praxis, SWP, Socialist Party, Stop the War, Notts Stop the BNP, CND, Pedals, Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Nottingham city council's adoption and fostering team, Stonebridge City Farm, CAMRA, World Development Movement, Friends of the Forest, Notts Wildlife Trust, Brinsley Animal Rescue, League Against Cruel Sports and even the Liberal Democrats.

The weather was glorious and the Arboretum was heaving. Many of the people sitting around might have been there for the weather rather than the festival, but the live music seemed to be going down well.
