In al historic times royalties has been corrupt and arrogant, and often connected to very dubious persons and groups in society. Don’t forget that the former Duke of Windsor, i.e. Prince Edward (Edward VIII) and his spouse Misses Wallis Simpson admired The Third Reich and Adolf Hitler. In fact they visited The Berghof, in Bava-ria, the mountain resort where Adolf Hitler and his mistress Eva Braun lived during the summer. Though not far from Berghof was the KZ Dachau, the infamous work and concentration camp where thousands perished

I August 1941 the Swedish King wrote a letter to Adolf Hitler, thanking him for the attack on the USSR on the 22nd June 1941, dawn to the fact that the king hated the Soviet and the communist ideology etc. The Danish Monarch also had certain sym-pathies for The Third Reich in the 1930ties. The case of the Duchess isn’t that much of a scandal because it’s obvious that they are going to misuse there power and influ-ence with the rich and mighty, because that’s there daily playmates.
They have absolutely no relation to “the people”, the everyday men and women who have to struggle on the labour market and with life in general. And especially at the moment where the public sector is going to be slaughtered by the Tory chief butcher: David Cameron and the henchmen from the Tory Butcher Shop.
Monarchy and democracy are opposites, because of that monarchy as a kind of state leadership should be abolished, monarchy should be replaced with the republic and
a head of state elected by the people.
