Call-out to all anti-racists and anti-fascists:
The English Defence League - a group of racists, nationalists, fascists, and football hooligans - plan to march in Newcastle on 29 May 2010. We will oppose them.
The EDL claim that they oppose 'Muslim extremism'. In fact, they are racists who seek to provoke conflict and disunity. At previous marches they have chanted racist slogans and made Nazi salutes. They have staged protests outside mosques and ran riot in Luton, attacking bystanders.
We resist the EDL's attempt to divide our communities. We need to stand together against those who exploit and oppress us - unity is strength! The EDL's racist provocation is an attack on us all.
Anti-racist protest: meet 10am at Monument, Newcastle upon Tyne, 29/5/10.
We aim to be a flexible group of people, responding as needed on the day. We aim to be able to address people in the street, not be kettled in where nobody can hear our message.

Perhaps while you're at it you could explain the multitude of photos of EDL members making Seig Heil salutes, the Youtube footage of EDL members chanting racial slurs, the proven links between the EDL and the racist BNP, come one explain it.

Even with all this, I agree not ALL of the EDL supporters are racist and Nazi, but then not all BNP supporters are racist and Nazi, all EDL supporters are happy to knowingly march alongside Nazis, all BNP supporters are happy to vote for a party they know is run by Nazis, and not all people who lent their support to Adolf Hitler's original Nazi regime in Germany were ideologically committed Nazis either !!!
Alot of original German Nazis were in it because they thought themselves "patriots" and/or because they "only" enjoyed a ruck, and arguably these collaborators are even more dangerous than the ideologically committed Fascists because it's the collaborators that give Fascist movements their best hope of making political progress

There is a very big difference between muslims and Jews. Muslims want to impose harsh sharia law on every country. Whereby people are stoned to death for minor offences, homosexuals are executed and women are forced to cover themselves almost completley in public or else risk being flogged and beaten. Islamic regimes such Iran and Saudia Arabia are some of the most brutal and oppressive on earth. Most muslims want to impose such a regime on Britain.

800,000 Muslims volunteered to fight for Britain during WW2, and around 200,000 Muslims fought for France (far out-numbering the 25,000 Bosnian Muslims who fought for Hitler). British Muslim war heroes include Special Operations Executive agent and WW2 heroine Noor Inayat Khan, a Sufi who (despite remaining actively pacifist) received the George Cross for the incredible bravery she showed working with the French resistance against the Nazis during WW2...
Minority groups like Islam4UK mustered just 20 Muslims to protest against British troops in Luton, which, in a town of 35,000 Muslims, means that Islam4UK represent less than 0.007% of Muslims JUST IN LUTON (and that's not even factoring-in the fact that most of those Islam4UK protestors weren't from Luton). As for Sharia Law, the harshest interpretations of Sharia Law advocate corporal punishment for petty offences - so do the BNP. Sharia Law advocates capital punishment for serious crimes - so do the BNP. Sharia Law advocates the abolition of all equalities and civil rights legislation that protects the rights of women and gay people - so do the BNP. BNP leader Nick Griffin supported Muslim radicals like the Ayatollah Khomeini's Islamo-Fascist regime in Iran and the black racist leader Louis Farrakhan's group The Nation of Islam.
As for terrorism, Nazi nail-bomber David Copeland said the people he most admired were Hitler, Stalin and SADDAM HUSSEIN, and EDL activist "Wigan Mike" Heaton was recently arrested in a major anti-Nazi terrorism sting, where members of the Nazi group he belonged to were producing bombs and CHEMICAL WEAPONS

There are a tiny minority of Muslim Fundamentalists who do, as there are a tiny faction of fundamentalists in EVERY religious denomination, the vast majority of Muslims just want to get on with their lives just like everyone else.

When the far right finally get their numbers and go on the rampage there will be nobody to oppose it, and they will have free reign over the streets and vulnerable members of society.
It's only when the anti-fascists realise how outgunned/outnumbered they are that things will start to change. Until then, we only have hope that the EDL can undo themselves, because there is NOTHING that the anti-facsist/racist movement can do right now.
