More Leicester Lab Demos.
NAVA | 20.05.2010 20:01 | Animal Liberation
Activists today spontaneously visited the University of Leicester to oppose their new animal testing laboratory.
After almost an hour going round the campus, placing leaflets in offices and on notice boards we were spotted by security and had a further chase round, so we moved onto the Lanacaster Road building site.
Those constructing the lab were told through megaphones about the lab they are using being set to be a large hell hole to butcher thousands of animals. Security had been upped on the compound, however this did not deter us as we climbed trees and spoke to some of the builders about their work.
Quote of the day goes to Colin, Deputy Head of Security, commenting "It's like I woke up and all my nightmares had come true", commenting on his return from a holiday break.
We will return time and time again, day or night, and remind those involved of the suffering they are set to cause.
