Fred Pearce (author of recently published ‘people quake’ and climate correspondent for the Guardian), and Dr. Alice Bows (scientist at the University of Manchester and the Tyndall Centre) are speaking about the media scepticism surrounding the science of climate change.

The meeting will discuss the science behind the climate change debate what lies behind the increasing denial of climate change by sections of the media and politicians. With space for open discussion about how the climate movement can move forward after the general election, also with the international climate conference (COP16) in Mexico approaching, this is an exciting time to keep climate on the agenda.
