The people's assembly activities in parliament square

The people's assembly in parliament square is growing and evolving.
Many visitors from locally and across the world are coming to visit each day. Today we were visited by people from the Iranian freedom movement who will be coming to present a film and workshop in the near future. We also had visitors and expressions of support from Thailand, Canada, Italy, Japan, Poland and Argentina. Representatives from 'www.Takebackparliament.com' came to the village people's assembly 7pm facilitated meeting. We discussed cooperation on their demonstration this saturday. They are a campaign for electoral reform and they agreed to come back next week to also do a workshop/presentation.
A renewable energy zone was set up last night with a bike generator, windmill, and two small solar panels in order to power some lights and communications. We need further help and tech support, along with equipment for this.
David Cameron was spotted in a local conference centre and a delegation of activists rushed out to question him on the war, electoral reform and other pressing issues with a loudhailer, banners, placards and videocameras.
There is a direct action meeting everyday at one o clock in the camp. Come and get involved.
This saturday is a very busy day, with guerilla gardening from 12pm, party at the pumps in the afternoon, the take back parliament demo, a stop the war demo, and a campaign cc.org climate vigil, from 11pm til 6am sunday, all focusing around, or visiting parliament square. This is a time of great change, come and help the people's assemblies that have been called for through the international Copenhagen networks to be set up throughout June, around the world.
Reclaim the Power. Network it.
