Notts sabs successful film screening at the Sumac

A Sab | 08.05.2010 10:05 | Animal Liberation | Sheffield

On Wednesday 5th May Nottingham Hunt saboteurs held a screening of "A Minority Pastime" at the sumac Centre.

Over 25 people attended and enjoyed a fine vegan meal before watching this interesting film about anti-hunt campaigners in the UK. Entitled "A letter to David Cameron" our showing was timed to coincide with the General Election and ensure that people were aware that the Tories wish to repeal the Hunting Act.

People donated generously and over £100 was raised to help us directly intervene to save the lives of hunted animals in the East Midlands.

Thanks to everyone who attended and all who helped with organising this successful evening.
