Prepare to take to the streets on Friday morning. Here's why: the polls say Conservatives will win more votes, but the majority of votes will be for social democratic parties. The Murdoch press will push for a Conservative government, we have to make sure that a Lib Dem + Labour coalition takes power.
We may hate New Labour, and the Lib Dems even slightly less. But I hope no one here doubts that putting the Conservatives in the executive means a whole system of regressive policies will come tumbling in . The most important politics in Britain in 2010 will not be what happened before the election, but what we do afterwards. Start thinking about it now
