Nakba Speaker coming to Nottingham

Nottingham branch of the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign in conjunction with the Nottingham-Jenin Friendship Group will be holding a public meeting to hear from a visitor from Palestine relating his own experiences of Palestinians suffering under Israel's brutal military occupation.

The meeting will be held on Thursday 13 May starting at 7.30PM in The International Community Centre, Mansfield Road, Nottingham.

Our Guest Speaker will be Hazem Jamjoun who is Communications Officer at the Badil Resource Centre for Palestinian Residency & Refugee Rights in Bethlehem. Hazem, a third generation Palestinian refugee, will speak about the historical roots of the current situation in the Occupied Territories, the current wave of popular resistance and the campaign for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions against Israeli apartheid.

Hazem’s talk will be followed by a question and answer session.
