Margaret Atwood has decided to accept the Zionist Israeli Zionist Dan David Prize for services to literature. Israel Boycott & Sanctions Now! calls upon the activist community to publicly disown Atwood for her support of the Zionist nightmare!

Atwood's books are often snidely Islamophobic, for instance in The Handmaid's Tale, she singles out Iran for vicious attacks, claiming in the so-called "feminist parable" that it is sexist.

We should hold demonstrations where you can bring your Margaret Atwood books to be destroyed. Then a march to your local bookstore or library where you can protest against them holding the works of such collaberators with the racist fascist Zionist war machine!

Perhaps we should occupy public libraries until they get rid of her books too? This may seem harsh but in the link provided she comes out as a full on supporter of the IsraHELL state. We need to think creatively about isolating those who wilfully collaberate with the Zionist regime like this.

I read Atwood's response, and -- as you would expect from a novelist -- it is measured and balanced, trying not to get caught up in empty sloganeering and McCarthyite tactics. "USACBI" could learn from that.

And the intro is practically a parody. "Zionist Israeli Zionist Dan David Prize"? Why not "Zionist Israeli Zionist Dan Zionist David Israeli Zionist Israeli Prize"?

Also -- when is the last time anybody at "USACBI" actually bought an Atwood novel? Seems the threat of boycotting her is very empty.
