I think this has gone right over some people's heads.

If people bother to read the article, it's clear that Dr. Best doesn't really think vegans are from another planet, he's just using a metaphor/allegory based on a fictional book by the late cosmologist Carl Sagan.

I guess some commentators here think that men really are from Mars and women from Venus...
