Liverpool Antifascists | 15.04.2010 09:51 | Anti-racism | Culture | Social Struggles | Liverpool

Liverpool Antifascists' second benefit night this month will take place on Saturday 24th April.

After the success of our first folk night last month, we are returning to the Pilgrim Pub. This time, as well as a line-up of singers and bands, there will be an open mic segment. Please get down early if you wish to sign up.

The event will be held in the pub's upstairs room. The doors open at 8.30 pm.

Flyers and a poster are attached. Printed flyers will be available soon. As ever, please spread the word.

This isn't news

It's an advert for a political group. When did indymedia become an advertising space?

At the least the lazy twat could have added a news element by reading, filtering and then deciding on what s/he wanted to post.

Like most normal people I'd prefer to read about the tory manifesto, and then be able to slag it off openly without being censored by some fucking nobhead.

comfort plus

It's sinful

It's fucking tragic how Liverpool born and bred people are being treated on on Liverpool indymedia these days. It's a fucking disgrace that Liverpool people are being judged by middle class students.

Read the Tory manifesto, get a life, we remember how the tories behaved ,so do not need a reminder, liverpool is a great place, the posting will bring people together, since i live 50 miles away ,and a little out of the loop ,so its great to go along to such venues and get active, and meet like minded folk, liverpool is a city of great people,

50 miles and running

Liverpool is so lovely you choose to live 50 miles away.

Reminds me of most of the clowns posting on liverpool indymedia and those controlling it. Middle class students who blew in on their parents income, or former liverpudlians who couldn't wait to leave.

You seem amazed that the tory manifesto, or lib dem costed policies might be of interest to working class people in liverpool.

We've all moved on and working class scousers are not the political dinosaurs some people think.
