The News Cast
Israeli military demolished three houses in the West Bank on Wednesday in Al-Khader and Beit Sahour near Bethlehem and the village of Hares near Salfit.

In Bethlehem, Israeli bulldozers demolished a house that belongs to Omar Ribhi from the town of Beit Sahour. The owner told IMEMC that he was planning to build a warehouse with an area of 1000 square meters.

Ribhi said that he put the construction on hold since last year after he received an order to stop. He complained at the Israeli military headquarters in Beit El, and was told that as long as he does not resume the construction, there will be no demolition.

According to Ribhi, an Israeli officer who accompanied the bulldozer told him that the demolition will be carried out without a demolition order.

Shortly before noon, the Israeli military demolished the house of Ali Mousa from Al-Khader village. Mousa told IMEMC this is the third time Israel demolishes his house during the past 22 years.

The military refused to abide by an Israeli court ruling, brought to them by Mousa's lawyer to cease the demolition, and declared the area a closed military zone, and carried on with the demolition.

Earlier in the day, Israeli military vehicles demolished the house of Maher Sultan in the village of Hares near Salfit. The house was still under construction and consists of two stories and would have been home to a family of 9 people.

In the mean time, Israeli forces kidnapped two Palestinian civilians and assaulted another Wednesday morning in the West Bank.

Palestinian media sources reported that Israeli troops invaded the town of Yattah near Hebron in the southern West Bank and Salift in the northern West Bank and kidnapped Hamza Hoshiyeh and Mus'ab ash-Shaab. Both were taken to unknown locations.

Meanwhile, Israeli border police assaulted Dia' Abu Mezar in the old city of Hebron. Abu Mezar was moved to the Hebron Hospital for treatment as he suffered bruises in several parts of his body.
