For all those wishing to take part in Mayday march and demos heading onto Parliament Square, the cops are fully aware of it, unlike an earlier posting in indymedia which stated the Met had issued a statement banning it.

Event March, Rally and Demonstration
Location ( 1) March : Clerkenwell Green > Trafalgar Square
(2) Demonstration: Parliament Square.
Timings Form Up (1) : 12:00 at Clerkenwell Green
Form Up (2) : 14:00 at Parliament Square
Start (1) : 13:00 at Clerkenwell Green
Anticipated end: 18:00
Proposed Route (1) March Route: Clerkenwell Road, EC1 > Theobalds Road, WC1 > Drake Street > Proctor Street > High Holborn > Kingsway, WC2 (cross over onto Northbound carriage way after Great Queen Street) > Aldwych (wrong way) > Strand (eastbound carriage way) carriageway) > Trafalgar Square. (some participants are then expected to join Demonstration as below)
(2) Demonstration: Parliament Square -
There will be 4 Demonstrations approaching from Parliament Street, Millbank, Broad Sanctuary and Great George Street.
Road closures (1) March: All roads on above route and approaches will be closed to facilitate the march and reopened when safe to do so.
(2) Demonstration: All roads approaching Parliament Square will be closed to facilitate the Demonstration and reopened once safe to do so.
Parking Suspensions Entire route already subject to restrictions.
Form Up Area – Clerkenwell Green, Aylesbury Street and part of Sekforde street will be suspended from the night before.
Additional Information This could be a very challenging day in Central London; Drivers are advised NOT to drive into the area unless absolutely necessary.
