minority pastimes - Hunt Sab film showings in Leeds and Bradford

sab | 03.04.2010 20:20 | Social Struggles

A new film is being released about fox hunting, called "A minority pastime".
Details of showings in West Yorkshire below.

"When Slad Valley resident Nisa Ward witnessed a deer torn apart by out-of-control hunting hounds her life changed forever. As a child lost in the woods of a grim fairy tale she unearths a shocking world of cruelty, violence and fear. This film follows her journey of discovery as she tries to understand why the right to hunt and kill animals for sport is so important to a small, but very powerful, group of English people."

For more information on the film see the website  http://www.aminoritypastime.net/

But THAT is a bad argument

You really shouldn't try to make a case based on "minority passtime". It is the evil of hunting you should concentrate on, not that only a minority partake in the activity (or even who these minority are).

Think about it just a moment. Is it a majority or a minority who collect stamps, play chess, watch trains, watch birds, etc. etc.? Would you consider the answer (majority vs minority) a reason against any of THOSE activities?
