Beccy Spurr | 01.04.2010 09:26

The Transition Market is back again on Sneinton Market Saturday April 10th 10-1

Bringing you a fabulous selection of handcrafted goods and homegrown produce, please come and have a browse with friends and family.

Reinnovation will be on hand to introduce you to micro-energy production, have a go at powering the sound system and learn how much energy it takes to generate sound.

Interested in finding out more about Transition Initiatives? The Forest Fields group are running a workshop on creating plant pots out of tetra paks, learn about how we can re-use things instead of throwing them away, or find out what other projects are happening in the city and how to get involved.

There will also be music from local musician Gallery47.

We look forward to seeing you there!
Transition Market is a volunteer run project to help build community resilience by re-creating a local economy, supporting new businesses and the promotion of skill sharing and education.

We are on the look out for more stall holders, skill sharers, musicians and entertainers for future markets. Please contact Beccy on 07789917429 or  beki_boo65@hotmail.com if you are interested in (or know someone who would be) holding a stall, sharing a skill or even helping out organise the market itself, looking forward to hearing from you.
