RATB | 23.03.2010 09:58

The Haiti First! Haiti Now! Reparations Campaign to invite you to protest in
support of Justice for Haiti

Outside the US Embassy,
24 Grosvenor Square,
London
SW1A 1AE.

The protest will be held on Wednesday 24th March 2010

2-7pm

This demonstration is called under:

End the Occupation! End the Kidnapping!
Reparations: Haiti First! Haiti Now!

The aim is to develop a broad based initiative on the common understanding that
it is necessary for the people of Haiti to receive reparations for the US
military invasion in 1915 and the French extortion of so called
‘reparations’ from the people of Haiti who dared to free themselves from
enslavement.

The purposes of the demonstration are:

- An end to the current occupation of Haiti by US military forces

- An end to military, political or economic occupation by US, UN or any other
forces foreign to Haiti and her people

- An end to the kidnapping and extradition of innocent Haitian-Afrikan children
allegedly under the guise of adoption

- An end to the exile of the democratically elected and subsequently ousted
leader of Haiti – Jean-Bertrand Aristide

- Self-determination for the Afrikan people of Haiti

- Full criminal proceedings to be carried out against all British, Spanish,
French, US, other imperialist nations and Haitian State officials who have
colluded to wage war against the interests of Haitian-Afrikan people in Haiti

- Full reparations for all Afrikan people everywhere in the world for the
Maangamizi/Maafa inflicted upon us by imperialism
France to give Haiti reparations for the 150,000,000 gold francs extorted from
Haiti after 1825, using military threats and an illegal blockade. Paid off
through a loan at high and compound interest, the money now amounts to over 20
billion $US. This is a root cause of Haiti’s present grinding and oppressive
poverty.

- The US to pay Haiti reparations for illegally invading and occupying a
country whose African people liberated themselves (Haitian revolution 1791 –
1804). The US must now immediately follow the example of Italy, which has
agreed reparations for Libya for its own brutal 20th century occupation of the
North African country.

- Complete unfettered control and ownership of all of the resources of Afrika
for the people

The protest will be held on Wednesday 24th March 2010 2-7pm

We are simply asking everyone to unite on this occasion
