Heathrow
For anyone wishing to travel down to the picket lines over the next few weeks, the Transition Heathrow crew have recently squatted a social space which will be opened up as a base for solidarity activists. There will be people there from Friday 19th night to get down to the picket lines on Saturday morning.

Gatwick...

Central London...

If you or your group wants to use this leaflet or change it you are very welcome!

SCABS ARE SCUM
THIS IS A PICKET LINE
DO NOT CROSS IT
British Airways cabin crew have exposed the "Professional Cabin Crew Council" (PCCC) as a scab union. This new union has been set up with the function of scabbing against the cabin crews union, Unite. When they cross picket lines they are acting to undermine the economic power of their fellow workers. While the scabs are sucking up to the employer, the employer has launched a class war against the union.
As chief executive of Aer Lingus, “Slasher Walsh" axed 2,500 jobs.

Benjamin, friend of people in Calais, apparently

Whichever pilot, whichever cabin crew from BA enables a deportation is scum, and should be treated as such.
Unless Unite agree to require members to disengage from facilitating deportation proceedings, we should ALL be VERY wary of engaging with them!

Yeah you're right; until all the workers rise up against the state we're all scum and you should sit in your revolutionary purist ghetto. Do you not think it might be an idea to go to the picket line and have a word with the striking workers about soldiarity with migrant workers? Try to be polite. Don't asume that none of us oppose the system that we are part of, as are you.

"Do you not think it might be an idea to go to the picket line and have a word with the striking workers about soldiarity with migrant workers?"

Can't, I'm in Greece... Besides Hussein is a refugee, no a migrant worker.

I do! it's called Athens (athens.indymedia.org).

We will have a VERY interesting summer, I promise you, you should come!

Still, some interesting possibilities are coming to mind.

Is the movement in Greece not supporting the striking workers there?

The question of whether to support workers who are part of a racist system was explored when the workers who print racist, sexist, popular tabloid The Sun went on strike:

looking into them

I suppose that any capitalist co. will always ask for 'assistance' when they have a 'problem', vis a vis farmers and subsidies. just try asking a farmer for some free food, or BA for a free ticket...

Benjamin

Benjamin
Benjamin

Benjamin is an asylum seeker in detention; thus he is an unemployed, migrant worker. He doesn't look like he's from the ruling class and he has been tortured for standing up to the Iranian ruling class. I don't think we'd be supporting him if he was ruling class, not only because he wouldn't need our help but because the working class and the employing class are enemies.
