Activists Hold Noisy Fur Demo at Cashe

Cache'ing | 15.03.2010 18:53 | Animal Liberation

Activists held an impromptu demo outside Cache in Nottingham today because of their continued sale of real fur and support for the animal cruelty and suffering that goes hand-in-hand with this trade.

Activists held an impromptu demo outside Cache in Nottingham today because of their continued sale of real fur and support for the animal cruelty and suffering that goes hand-in-hand with this trade. First of all the shop tried denying they sell real fur, however we had spotted a bag trimmed with rabbit when we went into the shop before the protest so yet again they try lying.

Chants of "Fur trade, death trade" and "Cache, Cache, Blood on Your Hands" echoed round the area, however the shop responded by calling in their bully boy meatheads who tried to intimidate activists.

Let it be known that we will continue demo's outside Cache until they cease the sale of real fur.

Give Cache a call and let them know what you think of their involvement in animal abuse:

There's no cashe in holding onto a cache of fur!

In an attempt to appear distinctive the shop actually calls itself 'Cashe' rather than the more normal 'Cache'.

However there is nothing 'normal' about dressing some babies in the dead skins of other babies, just because some of them happen to be human, and some other kinds of animals.

It does mean that a simple google search for 'cashe fur' brings the Campaign for a Fur Free Nottingham to the top of the search, revealing that the campaign continues every Friday, and this week probably on Saturday too (see  https://lists.riseup.net/www/arc/nar/2010-03/msg00005.html)
