Peel want more

12.03.2010 08:08

There are rumours Peel chairman John Whittaker is planning a takeover bid to become majority shareholder in UK Coal - it's been about some of the business press (check it out here:  http://www.marketwatch.com/story/uk-coal-looking-at-merger-proposal-2010-03-09-519470). Apparently they want to be number one in coal mining. Peel themselves are backed by a lot of oil money, coming from the powerful Saudi Olayan family.
