Demo at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm

Bristol Animal Rights Collective | 27.02.2010 22:36 | Animal Liberation

Today 6 activists from Bristol Animal Rights Collective ( BARC ) and Bath Animal Action ( BAA ) held another protest outside Noah's Ark Zoo Farm.

Once again we were treated to a warm response from passing motorists who beeped in support, which was nice. Once again the owner Anthony Bush came out to talk to us...about his religion amongst other things, which wasn't so nice. We stopped at least one car going in simply by handing them a leaflet and talking to them. The numbers of visitors to this crummy and failing backwater zoo were pathetic and it was fun to watch the buzzards and talk to each other for ages on end without being interrupted by having to leaflet anyone going in the zoo. Its enjoyable and exiting to play our part in closing down this animal abusing institution. We were joined by a photographer from the Bristol Evening Post who have been covering all the farcical goings on at this 'zoo farm' and a interview with one of our group members was aired on the radio earlier in the day. Heres the link to that story -  http://www.starbristol.com/newscentre/bristols-news/animals-rights-group-to-protest-outside-a-bristol-zoo-3931

Join us again next week - same time, same place, please get in touch if you want to come along.
We've also set up a specific website about Noah's Ark: www.closenaz.wordpress.com
