World Day last year. Laptop with work, mobile phone, bag needs to be returned.

Sinita | 22.02.2010 21:22 | Animal Liberation | Education | Other Press | World

My name is Sinita. I went to World Day in Hyde Park last time & my bag with my laptop {with all my Uni coursework}, phone & jacket were taken by someone I don't know. One of my friends says that someone was holding my bag which has pale pink satin on the bottom, red weaving & red string handles. We've been looking at photos of ALF actions & we have seen a woman that my friend says is the one with my bag.

Please does anyone know who this woman is. The woman is in this photo of the Bradford action on the far left with the glasses on and a crutch. All I know is that my friend says that she saw the woman with my bag on World Day. When my friends saw me I was looking for my bag, my friend said that the woman had it. We couldn't find the woman afterwards as she had gone. Please help me find her as she might still have my laptop. You might have thought it was lost property or maybe you have a bag the same but I really need my laptop back as it has all my uni coursework in it for that year. Most of my work is irreplaceable. It has my holiday photos in too so I can prove that this is my laptop, there are photos of me and my brother.
I'm not saying that anyone has stolen it, absolutely not but that it may have been picked up by mistake. If this is you in the picture can you email me so that I can get my laptop and my phone if you still have it? I would be ever so grateful if I could have them back. If anyone knows who this woman is can you ask her to email me? Thank you so much if you can do this. I live in Kent but I can come to London or nearby to pick up my things if anyone can help me get them back. Thank you to anyone who can help.

DO NOT RESPOND

22.02.2010 23:15

Please do not respond to this, it is police or private investigators fishing for information.

Someone who knows the person concerned :)

Suspicious

For someone so ready to put your email and full name in public for a private matter, it's strange that Googling for your name or email address doesn't come up with any hits...

I would be very unsurprised if this isn't an animal abuser seeking to find the identity of someone.

Come on Indymedia, get yer act together! Virtually every animal rights related post recently seems to be posted by trolls shit-stirring or fishing for information.

And in the unlikely event someone was genuine, don't they always tell you to back up your important files? What if your laptop broke? If you really leave three year's worth of work on one laptop with no backups, well, you are asking for trouble.
