Right to Work - Oxford public meeting

Julie | 22.02.2010 19:05 | Oxford

Building the resistance to the jobs massacre and cuts in public services.

On Saturday 30 January over 900 working people,
students, unemployed workers, and community activists
crowded into Manchester’s Central Hall to attend the
Right to Work Conference of Resistance & Solidarity.

They came to help plan the fightback against a jobs
massacre that has left over one million people between the age
of 16-24 without employment.
The situation is set to get even worse with all the mainstream
political parties promising savage cuts in public spending as
they seek to make ordinary people pay the cost of bailing out the
bankers.

Come along to the Oxford Right to Work public meeting to discuss
what we can do to challenge growing unemployment and inequality,
to defend public services and how you can get involved. For more info
