Yesterday the SHAC website was closed down after a court injunction was obtained by a major drugs company.
Lawyers acting for SHAC attempted to have the injunction overthrown yesterday at 4pm,
The request also asked for permission to name the individual acting on behalf of the major drugs company who had taken information form SHAC owned files and computer equipment.
The request also requested permission to name the Private Military Contractor who employed the individual and had a contract to investigate SHAC on behalf of the major drugs company.
All of the above was refused by the judge who upheld the injunction. He further upheld the restriction on naming the drugs company in any media form.
Lawyers acting for SHAC and an individual involved in administrating the SHAC website now say that they will seek a judicial review of the order and this will happen next week.
It is known that information held by SHAC regarding supporters is in the hands of the Private Military Contractor, the drugs company and the police. A separate legal request to have this information returned is under preparation.
