DUBAI, (PIC)-- The police in the Emirate of Dubai has announced on Monday the arrest of two Palestinian citizens, including an officer in the Ramallah-based PA authority, involved in the killing of Hamas leader Mahmoud Al-Mabhouh last month.Eleven more European nationals, including six Britons, three Irish, one French, and one German were also accused of masterminding and executing the assassination."Soon we will issue arrest warrants against the 11 European suspects who used sophisticated technology to kill the victim. However, we don’t rule out the possibility that the Mossad (Israeli external intelligence apparatus) is behind the plan, but we shall wait till we arrest and interrogate the suspects to know who was really behind the assassination", said Dhahi Khalfan, the chief of police in Dubai. He explained that the assassins arrived to the Emirate in three groups and left it within 24 hours, adding that passports of the killers were all genuine until otherwise proven. He also revealed that the two arrested Palestinians were suspected of providing logistic support to the assassins identifying one of the Palestinians as a police officer in the Ramallah authority who had met with the leader of the group whose name is Peter, a French national.
The plan:
The Dubai police exhibited photos captured by the surveillance cameras installed in and around the hotel where the crime occurred, saying that the assassins succeeded in decoding the door key of Mabhouh's room, while he was outside, and waited for him inside it before they suffocated and killed him.The police added that the suspects left some medicines next to Mabhouh's body in an attempt to deceive the police investigators, confirming that the plan was cooked in the room of Peter who booked a room adjacent to that of Mabhouh. The police also revealed that the assassin group used hi-tech communication tools that couldn’t be intercepted by the Emirates communication channels, and they paid in cash for the hotel instead of credit cards."We know each one of them and where they live, but we will chase them through international channels after we published their names and photos", underlined Khalfan.

An old regime, slipping

Two Palestinians, six Britons, three Irish, one French, and one German all involved against one Hamas leader. And most of them not going anywhere near the scene in question!

Well thats one way to try to fabricate international consensus!

Netanyahu and his cronies have pulled a very unconvincing little job out the bag haven't they. Is anybody supposed to be convinced by this. Israel, Mossad.....meh!

Viva la hamas, Viva la palestinia, Mort a la sioniste!

Mort a la sioniste?

Are you trying to say "death zionist style" in French? Or "death to Zionists" in cod Spanish?

Anti-semitic grammar watch

Acting with impunity and disregard for law.

Makes the conspiracy theory about Dr David Kelly seem plausible.

A mob of 11 trained killers would easily blend in, hold him down, pump his heart or whatever they do.

Looks like the eye that watches us has caught the rats at play.

Makes you think, no?

It would be anti-semitic passport watch if anyone had pulled a stunt like that with Israeli
passports.

But no, cheers Zionists for making it doubly awkward for British, Irish, French and Germans to travel in the region. Suppose the UK can always charge Israeli government visitors with war crimes in Gaza to even it up.

"Are you trying to say "death zionist style" in French? Or "death to Zionists" in cod Spanish? "

I'm saying 'Death to the Zionist'. That means 'Death to the Zionist'. You know, as in 'Death to the Zionist', otherwise known as 'Death to the Zionist'.

In French it means 'Death to the Zionist' and an cod Spanish it means 'Death to the Zionist'.

I believe in Creole the translation is 'Death to the Zionist' and in Gaelic it means 'Death to the Zionist'.

I'm not to sure about this and I stand to be corrected but I think in Klingon the exact translation is 'Death to the Zionist'...ditto for the Jedi language too.

In Hebrew the translation is 'Long Live Anti-Semitism'.

Is that clear....Zionist!

Anti-imperialism, not cliquism

Sorry miserablist, but you can't just throw all of the world's political movements onto a Eurocentric line from fascist to anarcho-left. Whilst it would be lovely to have a consensus decision making, non-hierarchical organisation running Gaza, if those are your pre-conditions for supporting resistance to oppression then you're going to find yourself increasingly restricted to narrow Western cliques, ignoring those most in need.
It seems obvious that this story is about the clandestine forces of an oppressive state hunting down and summarily executing an exiled member of a liberation movement for an occupied people. Not a particularly ambiguous situation, for anyone being honest with themselves

Yes, I agree. It is perfectly possible to dislike Hamas's fundamentalist Islam and less than liberal attitude towards women, whilst at the same time being glad that they are incorruptible, provide health and education services to impoverished people, and are serious about defending Palestinians from the extreme violence of the Israeli state. If it wasn't for militant groups and the popular resistance the Palestinian people would have been ground into the dirt by the Israelis a long time ago. The Palestinian people voted with their feet when they democratically elected Hamas to power, a water tight election which Western states refuse to recognise whilst claiming their own state terrorism and belligerency is morally justifiable and some how distinct from the actions of Hamas.

Israel's "eye for an eyelash" policy was designed to undermine support for Hamas and make any resistance futile. However this policy now extends to all resistance groups as we have seen with the arrest of people employing non-violent tactics. Many of them were accused of 'hoarding weapons' which turned out to be empty tear gas canister shells which the Israeli's had fired at them. Many of these people won't be seen again unless a fuss is made since Palestinians are usually jailed indefinitely without trial.

Sitting from our armchairs choosing support for the group which most closely matches our ideological vision is a luxury Palestinians don't have. When it comes to the life and death of the people of a country, the question is not "which group do I agree with most", but "which group is most effectively defending my interests".

are right wing, blood and soil nationalist anti-semites... this mean they are closer to fascists than anything else.
They are misogynistic, homophobic, anti-working class, have murdered trade unionists, expelled women from universities and all manner of other things.
Support the people of Palestine, fuck Hamas.

"Support the people of Palestine, fuck Hamas."

Is that the Hamas that is demonised by Israel and the west, or the Hamas that got 60% of the vote in the last elections? Where are you getting your information from?

Hamas is consistently accused of stuff, whilst Fatah is doing the same things - attacking Trade Unionists, killing Hamas members etc etc - but the West and Israel were the ones who assisted Fatah in its attempt to "fuck the Palestinian people" and stage a coup in Gaza, and Hamas like any elected body chose to defend itself. Hamas's acts are magnified whilst the corrupt Fatah movements similar acts are not.

This article gives a somewhat more balanced picture of what is happening with Hamas now:

The statement of yours I have quoted shows an unhealthy disrespect for the same people you say we should support.
