Bradford Uni Day of Action - 10th Feb

Stop Animal Experiments at Bradford (SAEAB) | 05.02.2010 03:08 | Animal Liberation

"[Bradford] University cannot tolerate any disruptive activity during Open Days which are organised to allow prospective students and their families to visit the facilities." - Jeff Lucas, Deputy Vice Chancellor, University of Bradford pleaing with us not to hold a demo at university events.

The University of Bradford are holding their first open day of 2010 on the 10th February, where most of the campus is open to prospective students to look around. However, on this day they will be trying their best to hide the dirty secrets of their vivisection laboratories from question. This is where we come in!

To expose the true nature of Bradford Uni’s animal experimentation programme and complicity in animal abuse, we will be holding a series of demonstrations and stunts around the campus with the aim of bringing this important issue to light.

Activists will be split into different teams for various areas and times during the day for a variety of actions (details of which will be released nearer the time). The Open Day lasts from 1pm ’til 6pm and includes campus tours, various departments holding stalls – including the School of Life Sciences – and various lecturers and staff giving talks.

If you would prefer to visit the open day and ask questions to university staff on the day, you can register to attend the event here >>>  http://www.brad.ac.uk/openday/book-to-attend-an-open-day/
