The following was revealed in an undercover investigation of Noah's Ark Zoo Farm in 2009:
• Inadequate vet care
• Killing of excess animals over the winter months
• Display of young tiger cub when he was very unwell, shortly before his death
• Illegal disposal of a tiger carcus
• Borrowing animals from the Great British Circus, one of the few circuses still to use animals
• Inadequate access to tranquiliser, in the event that a large cat escapes
The trade body, BIAZA has withdrawn the zoo's membership after the zoo brought the organsiation into disrepute by withholding information about the origin of their tigers, and despite this, they took in some new lion cubs in February 2010.
