20 Activists Demo Bradford’s Rodent Breeder, B&K Universal

20 Activists today held a noisy demonstration at B&K Universal, East Riding of Yorkshire, to protest about their breeding of animals for vivisection facilities, including the University of Bradford. B&K have a specialist breeding colony of GM rodents specifically for UoB.
The site was closed down for the day as a result, however banner-waving and chanting activists made their presence known. “Close Down B&K” and “Close Down the Bradford Lab” echoed around the area as megaphones were put to great effect.
Local news and radio also covered the demo, with excellent interviews.
