Poverty is not just caused by government policies – it’s caused by the global economic and political system. Mega-rich banks are sucking the people of the world dry. Nations are reaching record unemployment figures, personal VAT is at a stagering all time high and still the banks are managing to pay out record bonusses without any real intervention from government. In 2010 UK unemployment is set to reach 3.000.000. On the 6th of February 2010 groups from all over the world will be taking part in a global revolution to make capitalism history. No longer will we let the banks and governments stand by while they blaintantly steal our jobs and money.

We ask that you take part in your own major cities and help to make our voices heard!

no need to worry, the facebook event is just one of the ways that people can sign up and communicate with one another.

there are several sites around the world acting on this and already www.antifa.fr/worldwide have it on their front page - hardly a small site.

most the people on there are all members of certain groups and already 2000 people in denmark alone are expected to show up.

Ignore the naysayers... most of them are middle class, pseudo intellectuals who live on government grants or social security provided by the taxes imposed on the real working class. They are shit scared that people will actually DO ANYTHING... because it would expose them as the parasites they truly are... endlessly spouting empty sympathetic words to those who are carrying the real weight.

What you are doing is a contribution... this will be a long, hard struggle to destroy the centralised administrative, financial, military and propaganda wings of the oligarchs who seem to be under the impression that they are our masters. Time to teach them a lesson in manners and at the same time take back the common land that has been stolen from the people, not just in this country but around the world. Also to re-establish the common law which is our real heritage, not their statutory bullshit that creates laws that enslave the real people.

a few weeks ago this lot (ie. one guy and a few idiot followers from different countries) were calling for a 'global revolution against TEH NEW WORLD ORDER!!'... then they got laughed at for being idiots and their facebook page (covered in links to right-wing, anti-semitic David Icke bullshit) disappeared.. seems they've now cropped up again with some vaguely more anti-capitalist rhetoric... but it's still a total joke and the revolution will simply NOT happen on 6 february. it's fucking laughable that a revolutionary situation will arise out of some stupid kids with a riot fetish dressed in black meeting together in the capitals of a few developed western countries. i'd be surprised if they even get the wee fight with the polis that they seem so desperate for. just LOL

To be honest this isn't a bad idea, it would be amazing to have mass direct action all over the world on the same day. I t would show the global context of struggle and increase internationalist solidarity. It's just a shame that it has been organised by this guy. Kudos to him for trying to organise this thing but for it to work it would need to be better organised and not run by one guy who is a narcisist(6th of Feb is the organisers birthday) who just absolutely flys off the handle with anyone who disagrees with him.(just watch him call me a reactionary pseudo-intellectual who is probably working for the cops.)

If something like this were to be done properly it wouldn't be done over facebook of all places it should be done in clandestine between different groups across the world which would actually build international links, not just a facebook group you can passively join and feel cool about when you join.

All these things are infringements of our COMMON LAW RIGHTS and need to be corrected.

We are in a period of transition.

I've checked out French ones to get an idea of what could possibly happen, but hey, what good is that when you're in England? I've tried to watch a video clip about it on Youtube, but it has been removed by the viewer... anything else to view, or can be viewed that is based over here?

These places are held in trust, it means no building without massive problems, if you read more books instead of the rag by the princling you would know that there is more protection under the law (including common law) for these, this also includes military lad (available to public use when not in use by the forces, and crown lands which may have local restrictions on use but for the most part are for the common good (st James,Hyde and Green in London)

Except for the parts of the Forrestry commision lands where "do not burn down the forrest you dick" is enforceable I distinctly remember most of my child hood doing the same activities you say are banned? The exceptions are hunting and fishing, first you have to ask the person whos land it is...most will say "OK" and away you go, this is because they dont want witless uni types killing everything and leaving them nothing or having dogs chase the animals.

Ahhh COMMON LAW rights.....The basis on which all laws in this country are based, before you spout them, read them. Then look at Scotland, its laws are ALL common law. Read them and then ask if thats all you want.

Idea good in principle

The idea of holding a protest against the banks and the system in principle is good. Trying to organise a large one online is goin to be difficult becasue the true number of people turnign up wont be known....i.e empty promises. Better to meet and organise beforehand. Maybe this is why a few thousand are turning up in Denmark..... However a smal, demo or protest it is better than none and better to turn up and at least display solidarity with overseas comrades.
